The path around Indian Brook Reservoir, we are headed to catch a few fish..
Morgan carrying the bug spray, just in case
Aydin, waiting for a bite..
Mike taught Liam to cast in the backyard before we went. He loved it and couldn't get enough. Mike's helping him reel in his first catch
Who's happier.. Mike or Liam?!
I took Morgan out in the kayak the first time, but after that, she handled it all by herself.
She liked kayaking, but really loved the paddle board. She had great balance!
Liam picking his lure
Is it my turn on the kayak?!
Grandma's turn!
Time to just float..
Check out the turtle Liam caught!
Fishing off the dock at Little River State Park. Note the bucket of water to save his fish for a little while.
We were happy Jacob came camping with us - 5 of the cousins all in one place. Sarah was working and not able to go. Here Jacob is helping Liam unhook a fish.
In the bucket he goes..
Look at that Sunfish!
Number 2 headed for the bucket!
Morgan got one too!
Morgan helping Liam with a hook
Morgan titled this "Rocktopia" We took a break from swimming to sit on the beach. These rocks were just begging to be stacked..
Liam worked for hours to catch this catfish - it was hiding under a log, but wasn't fast enough. That kid is FAST with a net!
A pretty big fish for that little bucket..
Time to relax back at the campsite and play a little checkers
Mike starting the fire so we can cook dinner and roast marshmallows
Kids all playing Kan Jam, a Frisbee game
Time to play cards
This is NOT the game Liam wanted to play... We started out playing Go Fish, but the bigger kids wanted to play something else after that.
Something tickled Aydin's funny bone..
Aydin and Mike found their favorite fishing spot - the Causeway on Lake Champlain. They went out by themselves a few early mornings hoping to catch something bigger than a sunfish.
Clearly it worked - Look at that fish! Nice job Aydin!
