Day at the Beach

The kids didn't have soccer on Tuesday, so we packed up and went to the beach right after school.  It was only about 75 degrees outside, so the ocean wasn't that warm.  The kids had fun picking up shells and playing in the tide pools - that was much warmer!

What a great afternoon!  We ended the day having dinner at a little place right on the beach. The tables were right on the sand - it was nice to keep our toes in the sand while we sat outside, and the kids got to keep playing while we waited for the food to arrive.  The only downside was the birds circling overhead waiting to steal a french fry!
