Hurricane Irene

There were a lot of places in Vermont that had significant damage, but where we were, it was just rain and some wind. It was actually kind of nice to stay home watching the rain and waiting to see if the power was going to go out.. groceries were bought, candles were ready, movies were on.. Turns out we didn't even lose power! I didn't think we had gotten that much rain until I saw the dam by our house and the river behind my office building - both had a crazy amount of water roaring down!
