Less than 3 hours before we head out... Taylor is so excited to spend April vacation in Washington DC with her friends - and me! She was thrilled when she heard that they were the only middle school in the state to go to the white house. Wish us luck - 53 kids, 4 adults, and 30+ sights in 4 days! I might need a vacation by the time we get back.. The plan is to drive all night and arrive just in time for breakfast at the Hard Rock Cafe. After that we'll start our day. (Really?? Don't we get to check into our hotel first? How about a shower?.. Wait - who signed up to chaperone this trip anyway?!)
